At first I was like: "wow, who the fuck cares..." And then I remembered that I am (still) trying to be more positive and less judgmental and thought "I am sure LOTS of people care, and I probably even know some of them. However, I personally do not care and would not spend a nickel on that show.(except I probably actually thought SHIT and not SHOW)" Ok, I MIGHT spend a nickel - but only if the beers were free. And then I thought - "oh, it's probably part of the Fair tour" except I was thinking it in a really judgy way because fair concerts suck ass (and then I replayed the whole positive, know people who like that shit, conversation with myself)... and I was right. Fair tour. OC Fair - I've been thinking that I need to go to the OC Fair instead of the LA County Fair for a change of pace (even though they are all, literally, the same)... maybe we'll go. and you know what, we would probably have a

I think you made a mistake by opening comments because I will comment until you cry uncle. My thoughts are threefold:
1. I used to be Pat Benatar's publicist and I don't really love her that much, but her husband (Spider!) is awesome.
2. If you go to the fair you have to invite us to meet you there. I'll but the first deep-fried Twinkie.
3. When we had our first meeting with Benatar, Gwen Stefani had just made a statement about how she was the mother of her & her ilk. And Benatar was all indignant about it. Apparently she's come around to it.

I worked on a Pat Benatar greatest hits or something set while I was at EMI and really surprised myself with how much I enjoyed most of the songs...
that being said.. I'm still not going.
BUT! We always try to go to the fair - maybe we should ALL try to go to the fair this year...
